I love this place! Great stylist. Michael is spot on every time. Very good prices. Meaning they charge what it's worth but know when to give you a slight discount. (A good salon should. They want you to keep coming back.) Clean! (We've all be to those ones which aren't.. this is not the case here!) I've been so happy there and keep coming back!
Since 2010, Mario is the only stylist/colorist I've ever been faithful to. He's intuitive, smart, and super talented. I am not the only client of his who moved to NJ and crosses two rivers to see Mario. So worth it. LOVE
I saw Michael today for partial highlights (just to lighten the front) and blow-out after he gave me a very much-needed cut about two weeks ago. After hunting for a new salon/hairdresser in my neighborhood for over 2+ years I couldn't be happier with the results and the service from Diva Salon. Michael and his team have been nothing but gracious, welcoming, and accommodating - on top of delivering amazing results. I was hesitant to write this review because when you find something great in this city, most of us are fearful to share. That being said, I couldn't be happier for discovering this hidden gem 🙂
I went in for an appt in July 2020 with Michael. It was an incredible experience. He did a root touch-up, cut, and style. I have naturally frizzy/coarse hair and he blew my hair out as I have never seen anyone be able to before! It looked beautiful. I will be returning. Also, in light of COVID, some things were in place: temp check upon arrival, wore masks, socially distanced, hand sanitizer available to all. It was safe and healthy. I can't wait to return. Also, the price is very affordable and worth every cent. Thanks, Michael!
Thanks to Yelp I found this gem of a place. It's the best blowout, highlights, & color in Brooklyn Heights! Also just got a facial from Nila and my daughter had her legs waxed, so gentle. A perfect all-around salon/spa. Michael, the owner, is fantastic and he has an amazing staff so it doesn't really matter who works on you.
